Village Connect, by Harbour Landing Village, promotes independence and supports seniors’ desire to live at home as long as possible by providing a proactive and holistic approach to health and wellness that fosters physical, mental, spiritual, emotional, cognitive and social well being.

Assisted Day Program

The Assisted Day Program is for seniors still living at home who are experiencing some cognitive decline or have a diagnosis of dementia. This program offers a social outlet that facilitates community and interaction with others in a safe, welcoming environment. Assistance, supervision, and direction are provided through engaging activities, light exercise classes, recreational games, active learning, and arts and crafts to keep your mind and body busy.

Independent Senior Social Club

Independent Senior Social Club is for self-motivated seniors living in the community looking to enhance or maintain their level of independence. The Social Club provides an opportunity for seniors to get out of the house, make friends, and enjoy tailored intellectual activities, creative outlets, a variety of games, active learning opportunities, tournaments, clubs, excursions, and project-based arts and crafts.

Connect Living Day Programming

Our research found that seniors living at home alone need an outlet for social connections, safety devices at home, nutritious meals, and ultimately, the confidence and reassurance that someone knows they are ok.

That said, we’d like to introduce you to Connect Senior Living!

Connect Senior Living (CSL) will focus on two service models – one where we can provide care services in-home and one where we can provide services on-site at Harbour Landing Village! It’s no surprise that we are well-known for the fantastic events and activities we organize, and this is an opportunity for us to share them with more people.

Phase One of our launch will occur this Fall and addresses a significant gap in the Regina market: adult day programming. Our on-site day program services are being designed specifically for two groups of older adults:

  1. Those who are very independent are looking for group exercises, fun activities, and new friendships. (2 days a week)
  2. Those who require more assistance, supervision, and direction due to early onset dementia. (3 days a week)

Adult day programs offer a social outlet that facilitates community and interaction with others in a safe, welcoming, and supervised environment. For caregivers, adult day programs can provide a much-needed respite from care to run errands, work, or relax, knowing that their loved one is in good hands and is benefiting from the company of others.
