Roots Kitchen & Bar Grand Re-Opening

Harbour Landing Village has been committed to doing everything we can to protect the health and safety of everyone in our community throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. As part of our commitment to safety, we made the decision to take additional precautions at Harbour Landing Village by temporarily closing Roots to the public in March 2020 and protecting those within our community. Ultimately, through our vigilance, we are very proud that we have kept our community safe and have managed to prevent an outbreak in our facility.

As part of the Re-Open Saskatchewan Plan connected to increasing vaccination levels, we’re delighted to announce the grand re-opening of Roots Kitchen & Bar on August 14, 2021! To celebrate the launch, our Executive Chef Chris Miller has put together an absolutely delicious menu featuring high quality products and ingredients sourced locally and this is your opportunity to enjoy Roots!

We are honoured by the recognition we continue to receive, including being nominated as a Finalist in New Business Venture category for the Regina & District Chamber of Commerce 2020 Paragon Awards! We are also incredibly thankful for the many repeat customers who continued to support Roots Kitchen & Bar during the pandemic through our Roots To-Go Curbside.

Our new Roots Public Dining Room is now located inside Harbour Landing Village where the Perk Coffee House was formerly situated. Our Roots Public Dining Room has a direct access entrance at the front of our building. We are so excited to reopen our doors to the community and can’t wait to share the next step of the journey with you.

🪖 In Flanders Fields
By: John McCrae

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved, and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.
